You are invited to join us for an exciting and fun day of all things Zeek, brought to you by Corelight Open Source.
Everyone is welcome to join us for a day of leveling-up your Zeek superpowers, one-on-one conversations with members of Corelight’s Open Source team dedicated to Zeek, and networking with other Zeek users.
This is a perfect opportunity to meet the team, learn something new, and get-up-to-date on all things Zeek.
The event will take place on November 16th 2023 in Frankfurt. Provisional timings are below, we will confirm and share the final agenda shortly.
There will be a talk from Robin Sommer, Co-founder at Corelight on “Threat Hunting Before Anybody Knew: How Zeek Became an Essential Tool for Network Defense“.
Talk Summary: Ever wondered how Zeek came about? We'll recap Zeek's journey from a little known research platform into a powerful operational security framework that's now helping to protect some of the largest, most sensitive organizations in the world. We'll also look at some of the things coming next on Zeek's roadmap. Bring your questions!
Robin is a Co-Founder at Corelight and used to lead the Zeek development team for many years. Before Corelight, Robin was a Senior Researcher at the International Computer Science Institute (ICSI) in Berkeley, California.
